Rain Falls, Isles, Summer (Reading for Poets n' Pints)

Rain Falls
Rain falls on the lake
July, the carpet of grass
Crushed beneath limbs
                                    Entwined
Her touch speaking, soft
Warm rain falls in sheets, hazy
A curtain drawn ‘cross
                                    The water
Hard, slow, heavy drops
Wet kisses, penetrating
Lips as pure as love
Falling
I read this Poem from my Collection, at the June gathering of Poets n’ Pints, June 15th, 2016
